Well, we got two important permits this week. Septic and building. The septic permit allows us to put in a septic system (sand filter) for the water coming out of the house. Sounds exciting, right? We had a "soil guy" come from ISU and took samples at several different spots on the hill. Because there is so much clay in the hill so the water doesn't drain quickly enough, we will be putting a sand filter septic system in.
More exciting is our building permit! This allows us to actually build the house. We have to start within the next six months and finish within 18 months. We are really rolling now!
